Cheeks is a young self-taught illustrator/ storyteller/ weirdo hailing from Perth, Western Australia. She is inspired by her mass love of cartoons, animals and every ratbag subculture known to man. Fuelled by a steady diet of burritos and dumplings, she creates images to tell the crazy, straight up eccentric stories that brew in the deep swirling black hole that is her mind.

Real In The Congo is the result of one such foray into the depths of Cheeks' world. After being dragged off into the jungle by main character C.Reaper (your friendly neighbourhood Cat Reaper) to get buckwild with demon monkeys and acid breathing snakes Cheeks is now back to relay her adventures to the sleepy audiences of Perth City. The exhibition will showcase digital illustrations in limited edition prints, exploring the hidden exotic monsters and creatures of the Jungle as only known to a select few.

Food, drinks, music and more available on the night.
